Currently the Customs Attache office is headed by Tn. Haji Jainon Sarjo and assisted by Mrs. Maimon Zaid, this Customs Attache office was officially opened for business last September 2008. Currently there are only three staff managing our Customs Attache office here (2 officers and a local Indonesian driver), the clerical post allocated for this office is still vacant. I was welcomed and given a brief tour of the office by Mr. Jainon and Mrs. Maimon, the Royal Malaysian Customs is one of many agencies located under the roof of Malaysian Embassy which significantly is the largest Malaysian Mission abroad. Presently, there are about 53 officers from 15 different government agencies, in addition the embassy also recruited 60 local Indonesian staff . The Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta is headed by His Excellency Dato' Zainal Abidin Zain, our Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia.
