TEAM KIASU strikes again, I registered for Shape Night Run 2010 as soon as the registration open today. When i found out that online registration at Hooha still pending, i went to Wisma Olimpik Malaysia, Jalan Hang Jebat, KL in the morning and manually registered my entry.
As a result i am the 3rd person to registered for the Men Open Category, well you can blame my kiasuness to the Sundown Marathon. I missed out on great event coz i was late in registering my entry for Sundown early this year. From then on, every time i wanted to enter particular race, i make sure i registered early if not earliest!
This Shape run is only open to a maximum of 3,500 runners and the goodies are “berbaloi baloi”, so peeps out there, you better make a move in registering this event before Sundown hit on you! It’s another Nite Run in Putrajaya, so expect humidity..a lot of humidity.
On another note, last week was tiring and emotional period for me. Abah fainted due to asthma attack early Wednesday morning, and was rushed immediately to HKL. I received the odd phone call from my brother at 5:15 am, Abah was later warded for 3 days in ICU before recovering another 3 days in normal ward. It was heartbreaking seeing your father laying there weak with all the tubes and wires inserting into his body.
Abah is a fighter, and by Wednesday afternoon he showed signs of movement and responded well when we talked to him in the ICU, we were told by the Doctors that apart from asthma attack, Abah might also suffered from stroke. On the 2nd day, he was breathing by his own and did not needed support from the breathing machine as compare to his 1st day in ICU. I’m glad to know that it’s only asthma attacked Abah not stroke as confirm by the doctors in HKL.
Yesterday, the doctor gave us green light to discharge the 73 years old man from the Hospital, the old man never liked staying in the Hospital for too long. Now i am glad that he is recovering at home where he is most comfortable.
Well done team kiasu! You have learnt well :)
