At a present, it’s the cheapest race fee i paid. For RM10, you even get a nice T.Shirt.
This small race attracted many Malaysian top runners, including Shaharudin, Amelia and others. Big surprise here! There was also 5km Trail run race at FRIM today in conjunction of Forest Day, but i guess more runners prefer road race.
The start/finish point was at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam, nearby the Grand Bluewave Hotel.
I started too fast and paid dearly later when approaching the hills, i guess my endurance is good, i need to do extra work on Stamina issues.
Completed the under distance 12km (Garmin measured 11.8 km) race in 60 minutes 19 seconds, dang almost had sub-1 hour there. I still hate hills!!
Only top 10 runners in each category are given Medals and certificate, when i arrived, i was given a bottle of mineral water and Gardenia bread. Even that bread were limited, you can say i won a limited bread for this race :) . Late finisher were only given mineral water.
