Introducing Jungle Marathon Vietnam

This race is being organized by an Irish Woman living in the South of France, named Shirley Thompson or "Jungle Shirley" as she is generally known.  Shirley has been organizing Jungle Marathon Brazil for the past 9 years and wanted to introduce a new race.  She decided on the Jungles and Caves of Quang Binh province.  In addition, she is also a highly experienced ultra runner has competed in most of the major ultra challenges.

Now this is no ordinary race. For starters, this is a self sufficient race. It means racers will carry all their own food, hammock, first aid etc for the entire race. Each day runners will also receive their water ration and be able to fill up at various check points. CNN Traveler names the Jungle Marathon Brazil the World's toughest endurance challenge.

It’s very tempting for me, but i don’t do multistage race – it’s too long for me. I might find myself getting bored lol
