“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page”

Hello readers, Happy New Year 2015. I hoped that your enjoyed and benefited reading my little running blog. I also hoped that 2014 brought you happiness and success in your life.

AUGUST 2014

10410933_10152520449449823_7757277685077624027_n-tileMy favourite month of the year! I spent these past two summers in high mountains of Colorado, USA. To be precise in Leadville town, 10,000 feet in the sky. Always the best summers up in the mountains. Visited my sponsor headquarters in Colorado – Optic Nerve Sunglasses, met Tony Krupicka, ran the highest 10km in USA, volunteered at Leadville MTB 100 bike, crewed for the bike race, acclimated and trained for the iconic Leadville 100 mile race. Unfortunately, passed out on Hope Pass inbound after covered 55 miles. I will be back stronger someday and finish this dream race!

SEPTEMBER 2014

OCTOBER 2014

1471928_10152598803479823_5358884501907461348_n-tileSpent the whole month of October in Europe for work, based in Belgium. Ran two road Marathons two weeks in a row, Brussels Marathon & Budapest Marathon. Free weekends were spent travelling around European cities, Paris (France), Amsterdam (Netherland) & Budapest (Hungary).

NOVEMBER 2014

10352086_10152679891079823_6001579474909654604_n-vertRepresented Team Malaysia with Khairi Muin at Ultra-Thai Chiang Mai (UTCM) 150km. We ran for PEKA’s cause “Save Our Rainforest”.

DECEMBER 2014

1450914_10152897521069530_9011898638648773709_nRan the TNF100 Hong Kong for the 2nd time, the idea was to get redemption. Again, not this time. Retired at 78km due to bloated stomach and couldn’t take in food for the past 7 hours during the race. Amazed that i could last that long running with flu and stomach issues. Well that’s life, it’s a cycle of up and down. It’s not about how many times you fall, it’s how many times you get up.

Onwards to new adventures in 2015.
